Doug Johnson is a highly respected professional photographer and educator. His work has taken him across this amazing planet; from South Africa, Ireland, Canada, and Cuba to his own home in Missoula Montana and all over the US.
He has taught along side many highly esteemed educators including; Alison Shaw, Freeman Patterson and good friends Neil Chaput de Saintonge, Eileen Rafferty and Tim Cooper.
He believes education and admiration are the “means to the end” and good old fashion fun is the vehicle we use to navigate through the journey.
Doug’s lifelong passion for teaching the technical and esthetics in the art is a direct reflection of the long term relationships he shares with his students and peers.
The workshop will start with a lecture Friday night, 7pm, in the Lewis & Clark room at the Red Lion, 5500 Midland Rd, Billings, MT 59101.
Saturday will be spent learning to edit in Lightroom Classic and Silver Efex Pro 2, plus a two hour field session taking our own photos.
Sunday will include more editing plus a photo review.
You will need to bring a laptop computer with Lightroom Classic or your editing software of choice, plus Silver Efex Pro 2, part of Nik Collection 2, available at DXO.com
